A senior member of technical staff with more than 6 years of experience at Sandia National Laboratories, Kathryn McNeal works in the Global Security Analysis and Simulation department, where she serves as the project deputy for border security efforts between U.S. Department of State’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement agency and Mexico.  She also works on threat analysis and transportation security for the U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration.

Kathryn earned a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an M.S. in the same field from North Carolina State University.
