Hosted by the Office of International Nuclear Security (INS) with participation from European Partners:  Armenia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Romania

PURPOSE

This nuclear security technical exchange is designed to share efforts to assess the risks posed by uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) along with mitigation strategies involving counter-UAS (CAUS) and other tactics to enhance nuclear security and assist nuclear power plant operators.  Key objectives of the engagement are to share: good practices, policy and legislative actions, testing and evaluation or studies related to physical security applications to counter threats, and the application and testing of CUAS technologies. 

EVENT DATES

This 4-day Technical Exchange will take place from 23-26 June 2025 at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) located in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
