ORS Training in Scribe3D

The NNSA Office of Radiological Security is sponsoring a training course designed to show users how modeling and simulation (mod/sim) tools can assist in the design, assessment, and improvement of physical protection systems at radiological facilities. This training event will be conducting from 8-11 July 2024 at the Center for Global Security and Cooperation (CGSC) at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

About this Course

The classroom-based, hands-on course will cover the following topics:

  • A broad overview of Scribe3D and its functionality.
  • How Scribe3D can be used for physical protection system design, evaluation, and technology upgrades, and operational staff training.
  • Basic instruction to teach core skills for using Scribe3D.
  • Exercise demonstrations and strategies for deploying these tools at various radiological sites.

Participation and Registration

  • This course is open to NNSA-ORS staff and associated physical security lab leads and staff.
