Italian Cyber Physical Exercise

This is a multi-day event going through the steps in a blended cyber physical exercise. The event will explore attacks on high consequence physical security equipment to enable a limited scope enhanced performance test. This exercise is designed to explore the player’s propensity to observe, orient, decide, and act (OODA) on the system inputs and communicate their knowledge of the state of the system to other players in and out of their organizations. Though this system and scenario is testing the cyber security player’s technical abilities of understanding the presented cyber threat and the physical security player’s ability in adjudicating alarms, the main objective of the exercise is to explore the processes and procedures to mitigate a cyber-attack that enables a physical attack.
